More aptly named than ever, this 16th festival ''Des Rives & Des Notes'' take us on an extraordinary musical voyage to the isles with eight concert-stopovers! The itinerary will direct us to some distant shores – Cape Verde, Cuba, Guadeloupe, New-Zealand and Japan, while those in search of notes will find: Latin-jazz, salsa, gwoka, mambo, batuque, morna, rumba and jazz.
Embarkation cards to be presented at Oloron at the foot of the Pyrenees, on 30 June for a superb cruise that will culminate with an all-dancing Sunday on July 5th.
First muster on France’s Music Festival day – the summer solstice - with concerts and events, musical interludes in and around the Oloron foothills and the Bearn valleys. Discover our fun weekend with all strains of jazz for free in the marquee on July 3, 4 and 5, at the port of Oloron, the site of the festival village, with all-day fun for the family, food and craft exhibition.
