Jazz from all angles

Jazz will be setting up camp in the Pyrenean foothills from 22 June to 2 July 2017. The Des Rives & Des Notes festival has myriad angles of today’s jazz in its DNA. This essential rendezvous that sees in every new summer is a showcase for shifting jazz trends from all over the world whose expressions are in perpetual motion. The Festival offers a succession of concerts whose artistes range from internationally acclaimed stars to gems from the new bold creative scene. These exceptional musical encounters feature globetrotting groups from France, the USA, Puerto Rico, Israel, Cuba, Germany and Spain.

* ten days centred around two weekends (23–24 June and 1–2 July),
* around thirty concerts all told in the main (Jéliote) and fringe (marquee) festivals,
* outstanding music projects produced by international stars and professional international, national and regional artistes,
* exclusive concerts,
* the 12th springboard competition for young groups (from all over France and beyond),
* special musical initiatives primarily geared to schoolchildren,
* catering for different audiences and special needs (access for the disabled, sustainable development and so on)
